Aidan O'Sullivan is Head of Cabinet to the European Ombudsman since 2014. Previously he was advisor to the Ombudsman after she was first elected in 2013. He worked before that for four years in the European Parliament. He also spent ten years in the IT industry as an engineer and consultant, working in the US, Germany and Ireland. He graduated from Dublin City University in 1998 with a B.Sc. in Computer Applications and in 2005 with a Masters in International Relations.
