Caroline is a Research and Development Specialist at the University of Luxembourg's Department of Law. Her current research is in the broad area of Business and Human Rights. Prior to this Caroline was a PhD Candidate and DAAD scholar at the Georg-August Universität - Göttingen, Germany, and is currently awaiting her doctoral defense.

Caroline has an LLM in Public International Law from the New York University School of Law, where she was a dean graduate scholar, and an LLB from the University of Nairobi. Her research areas and expertise are in the broad field of international human rights law where she has a number of publications spanning diverse aspects such as economic and social rights, women’s rights, rights of persons with disabilities and business and human rights. Caroline is particularly interested in Third World Approaches to International Law (TWAIL).
